Behavior Analysis is the study of human behavior.
What drives us? What motivates us? What makes us repeat the same patterns of behavior? Are you tired of making the same mistakes? What are the things that maintain our choices, good and bad? Do you truly understand the way you operate? Are you mindful of your actions and the results that they bring? I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
As a Behavior Analyst I am skilled at looking at the person within his environment and determine what it is that motivates that person to behave in a certain way. Once we establish that, we can work on changing dysfunctional patterns and replacing them with productive ways to live. It is my ultimate goal to help you LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE. All of our behaviors serve a purpose for us. If we were to change a certain behavior or habit we need to understand what purpose it currently serves and how to replace it with a more desired behavior that will still serve the same purpose but in a healthier and more productive manner. The naturalized behavior analysis that I practice will provides you with quick, effective and long lasting results.
Behavior Analysis Defined
According to Division 25, the fact that behavior analysis focuses on behavior as a subject makes it unique. The division also explains that this analysis of behavior can occur in three different ways.
- First, through the experimental investigation of behavior.
- Secondly, through applied behavior analysis. This process involves taking what researchers know about behavior and applying it in individual, social, and cultural contexts.
- Finally, through the conceptual analysis of behavior. According to Division 25, this addresses the philosophical, historical, theoretical and methodological issues in behavior analysis.”
